Elspeth Gibson

Overview

Elspeth Gibson is a well renowned British fashion designer, who won the British Fashion Council's 'New Generation Designer of the Year' Award in 1998, and 'Best British Designer' at the Elle Style Awards in 1999.

Requirements

Elspeth Gibson requested a revamp of her website, design and content. We had originally designed the site in 2003 and had won awards for its innovative design.

Solution

For the redesign we wanted to make it even easier for the user to view the images and see the whole range quickly and easily. With the addition of video the user can see how the material flows and looks in motion. We designed the site to reflect the creations of Elspeth Gibson, being very feminine and fairytale like. We used some elements of animation to give the site a special touch of magic.
